Purpose of Use and Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Public Interest Incorporated Association Biwako Otsu Tourism Association (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") will use the personal information stated in the application form submitted at the time of travel application for the purpose of contacting the customer.
In addition, such personal information will be used within the necessary scope for arranging and receiving services provided by transportation and accommodation facilities related to the tour applied for by the customer (major facilities are listed in the itinerary of this brochure or the final confirmation document sent by the date stated in the separate travel contract document), and within the scope necessary for the Association’s contractual responsibilities, insurance procedures for coverage of expenses in case of accidents, and for the customer’s shopping convenience at souvenir shops in the travel destination.
For these purposes, the Association may provide the customer’s name and other relevant information in advance by electronic or other means to transportation and accommodation facilities, insurance companies, and souvenir shops.
Furthermore, the Association may use the customer’s personal information to provide information on travel insurance and other products or services offered by partner companies, as well as information on the Association’s own products, campaigns, and services.
